The House
The House is a modern, open-plan retreat designed around panoramic views of the Twin Lakes and the Virunga Volcanoes. The architecture blends contemporary design with traditional Rwandan textures, featuring soaring high ceilings and large windows that frame the volcanic landscape.
With two en-suite bedrooms, The House comfortably hosts up to four guests, but it is just as suited for a solo traveler looking for a spacious place to dream or create. The layout includes a social lounge and dining area, a freestanding bathtub with volcano views, and a dedicated mezzanine loft for quiet work. It is a bright, airy sanctuary built for independence, comfort, and a quiet connection to the landscape.

❋ CanoeingTwo 2-seater canoes are available free of charge and can be prepared and carried down to the lake on request. This offers guests the freedom to explore the twin lakes at their own pace and in their own time. As this is an unsupervised activity, confident swimming ability is required.
Your Arrival.
Your stay begins on the water. We invite you to leave the noise behind at the boating pier, where our team will meet you, assist with your luggage, and take you on a stunning 10-minute boat ride across Lake Ruhondo to the property.
The cost of your boat transfer both ways is included in your booking, and we provide a dedicated guard at the pier to watch over your car for the duration of your stay.
Simply coordinate your arrival time with us in advance, and we will ensure the boat and our team are ready to welcome you. Upon reaching the peninsula, there is a short, brisk climb to the property. While the walk is steep, it is the secret to our unparalleled views of the volcanoes. Our team will be on hand to take the weight of your bags, leaving you free to enjoy the walk up.
